While in graduate School at the University of Colorado Denver, my projects occurred within classes and assignments. Activities in Milliken, Colorado and with Denver 2008 (as explained below) kept my engagement in outside projects limited. Therefore, my largest project was my Master's Capstone Project, Colorado's Policy & Plan: High School Civics for Lifetime Commitment. Other projects are described within course headings. If you have any questions regarding my Graduate School courses, Program or the scope of projects described, please Contact me.

My greatest amount of administrative and professional experience came from the Town of Milliken, where I was a Management Analyst/Assistant. This was the Best & Brightest Internship opportunity I had through the Town, Colorado Department of Local Affairs and the University of Colorado Denver. Here, I had the opportunity to learn local government's functions, policies and the role it plays with its community; topics not commonly covered in school. To learn more about my opportunities here, please Contact me.

2008 was a historic year in many ways and Denver was apart of it, being able to host its first Convention in 100 years. While having lived in Colorado my entire life and attending graduate school at the neighboring University of Colorado Denver, I decided to get involved with this activity through the City's Local Host Committee, a non-profit. In a seven month period I gained valuable non-profit and data entry experience with Denver 2008. For additional information on this experience, please Contact me.

During my undergraduate days at Adams State, I studied History. It was the first time I took what I learned from school and applied it to outside activities. I had the opportunity to work with different students and get involved with on-campus organizations to help them get the greatest amount out of the dollars they were spending for school, safety and recreational activities. For additional information on my educational and on-campus participation, please Contact me.

I was not involved in too many activities at Alamosa High School. My primary focus was academics, so I could compete on a greater level for college opportunites; a task a number of students face each year. Therefore, this Projects section will mainly discuss some of the internal awards I received in school. For additional information on high school participation, awards or activities; please Contact me.
